BJP Slams Congress Govt Over Employee-Hostile Decision

Shimla, Sept 9 – BJP leaders and MP Suresh Kashyap along with MLA Trilok Jamwal criticized the state government for failing to protect employee interests. They said that the controversial notification, which had triggered protests by over 10,000 employees across Himachal Pradesh, has only been *temporarily* withdrawn.
The leaders warned that the government might reintroduce the employee-hostile order in the future, reflecting its anti-worker stance. They emphasized that governments should take decisions to motivate citizens, youth, and employees, not to demoralize them.
They further alleged that the Congress government has a history of pressuring employees, filing cases against teachers, and only rolling back decisions under protest pressure. BJP termed the rollback as the employees’ victory and the government’s defeat.
