During a meeting addressed by BJP Pradesh Adhyaksh Dr. Rajeev Bindal, he highlighted the ongoing political developments in Himachal Pradesh, emphasizing the significant shift with 34 Congress legislators out of 43 now supporting the BJP. Bindal attributed this shift to the disarray within the Congress government in Himachal Pradesh, foreseeing success in all nine upcoming by-elections.
He noted a wave of support moving towards the BJP, leaving the Congress scrambling even to find candidates for the Lok Sabha elections. Concerned about the state’s future, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhoo seeks direction amidst the changing political landscape.
Bindal outlined a detailed electoral calendar including various events such as SC/ST Morcha, Women’s Morcha, Booth Victory Campaign, and others. He appointed coordinators for all parliamentary constituencies and soon to be appointed coordinators for each assembly constituency with upcoming by-elections.
Meanwhile, BJP’s co-incharge Sanjay Tandon expressed confidence in the party’s accomplishments and future prospects. The BJP plans to intensify its outreach efforts through door-to-door campaigns, ensuring the dissemination of their achievements, including the approval of Rs 518.90 crores by the central government for development projects in Lahaul-Spiti district.
Moreover, Shrikant Sharma emphasized the strong leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP’s confidence in securing victory in both the Lok Sabha and Himachal Pradesh assembly elections. He highlighted Modi’s popularity not only within the country but also internationally, citing an endorsement from a Republican congressman in Georgia, USA.
In conclusion, Sharma affirmed BJP’s leadership, integrity, and determination to succeed, contrasting it with the sinking Congress. With a resolute commitment to success, BJP aims to bloom the lotus on every booth, ensuring victory in the upcoming elections.
