Shimla, February 27 – BJP leader and former political advisor to the Chief Minister, MLA Trilok Jamwal, has strongly criticized the government, stating that corruption, drug abuse, and scams are not considered public issues by the CM’s advisor. He accused the Congress-led administration of ignoring rising lawlessness, increasing scams, and unchecked corruption, labeling it as the true character of the party.
Jamwal remarked that instead of addressing concerns about scandals and governance failures, the government’s advisors are attempting to silence the opposition. He challenged them to clarify whether exposing rampant corruption and the drug mafia in Himachal Pradesh is not a public concern.
He further alleged that the mining and drug mafias are flourishing, leading to youth dying from overdoses, while the government remains indifferent. He questioned whether hiking electricity and water tariffs, collapsing healthcare services, and shortages of essential medicines align with the government’s version of “public welfare.”
Jamwal warned that the people of Himachal Pradesh will soon hold the government accountable for its failures, stating that the ruling party’s short-lived political dominance will soon come to an end.
