Shimla, January 30, 2025: BJP’s state media in-charge, KaranNanda, strongly criticized Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge for his alleged anti-Sanatan remarks. Speaking at a Constitution Pride Campaign event in Upper Sanjauli, he accused the Congress party of consistently insulting Hindu traditions and beliefs.
Nanda referred to Kharge’s past statements, claiming that he once said, “If we come to power, we will eradicate Sanatan.” He also criticized Kharge for questioning the spiritual significance of taking a dip in the Ganges, asking whether Congress leaders would dare to make similar remarks about any other religion.
Highlighting the faith of millions in the Kumbh Mela and the sacredness of the Ganges, Nanda condemned Congress for its repeated attacks on Hindu traditions. He demanded that Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi issue a public apology for what he termed as disrespect towards Sanatan Dharma.
