BJP Leader Janak Raj Labels Congress Government as ‘Lockdown Government’

Shimla: Senior BJP leader and MLA Dr. Janak Raj has labeled the Congress government as a ‘Lockdown Government’, criticizing it for halting various services and facilities. He remarked that under the Congress rule, school uniforms for children, water supply to homes, and doctors’ Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA) have all been discontinued, and employment institutions have been shut down.
He emphasized that since the Congress government came into power, it has only taken the state backward. He noted that the previous BJP government had implemented significant measures, such as providing uniforms to school children, but the Congress government has ceased this initiative, negatively impacting the future of the state and the country.
Dr. Janak Raj also highlighted that despite CM Sukhu’s assurance on November 7, 2023, the NPA for doctors has yet to be reinstated. He criticized the CM for making promises without following through, leading to unfulfilled expectations among the public and employees.
The BJP leader further mentioned that in the Dehra assembly constituency, as well as in Nalagarh and Hamirpur, the CM is making lofty promises, but it remains uncertain when these promises will be broken.
