BJP Leader Bihari Lal Sharma Criticizes Congress Government for Failing to Manage State Despite Loans

Shimla: BJP General Secretary Bihari Lal Sharma has accused the Congress government of Himachal Pradesh of being unable to manage the state’s finances even after taking multiple loans. He criticized the Congress for constantly complaining about finances while remaining silent on development issues. Sharma highlighted that the state’s debt obligations will drastically increase in the coming years, with loan repayments and interest payments set to reach alarming levels by 2030-31. He further argued that the Congress government has done nothing but lament over financial issues since coming to power, while failing to utilize the funds provided by the central government effectively.
