BJP is Number One in Spreading Lies and Rumors: Congress
2 min readThe Chief Parliamentary Secretary has stated that the BJP is leading in spreading lies and rumors in politics.
Mohan Lal Brakta and Kishori Lal have claimed that the BJP is at the forefront of spreading lies and rumors. They have accused the BJP of basing its entire politics on falsehoods and spreading rumors under a calculated strategy. The BJP is allegedly attempting to confuse the people of the state by heating up the market of rumors. According to them, ever since the Congress government came to power in the state, there have been plots to topple the elected government. These plots are slowly coming to light, revealing the true face of the BJP to the people of Himachal Pradesh.
Brakta and Kishori Lal stated that in the 2022 Assembly elections, the voters of the state showed the BJP the way out of power due to its anti-people policies. However, with the help of some opportunist forces, the BJP attempted to seize power. They alleged that the BJP lured independent MLAs to resign by offering them inducements. They questioned whether money and power were used in this incident or if pressure was exerted on the independents.
The Chief Parliamentary Secretaries asserted that the lust for power among BJP leaders is evident, and the people are aware of it. The BJP is reportedly perturbed by the welfare schemes implemented by the state government. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukkhu, the present state government has provided old-age pensions to one and a half lakh government employees, a pension of 1500 rupees per month to women, initiated a 680 crore startup scheme for youth, resettled over 25,000 disaster-affected families without assistance from the central government, and implemented schemes for the welfare of all sections of society. They emphasized that the people of the state are the strength of the Congress Party and will be taken into confidence regarding the development activities in the state.
