BJP Delegation Led by JP Nadda Meets Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari Over Himachal Disaster Relief

Shimla, July 24: A high-level BJP delegation from Himachal Pradesh, led by BJP National President JP Nadda, met Union Ministers Amit Shah and Nitin Gadkari to discuss the recent natural disaster in the state and request central assistance. The delegation included Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur, State BJP President Dr. Rajeev Bindal, MPs Anurag Thakur, Suresh Kashyap, Dr. Rajeev Bhardwaj, Kangana Ranaut, Indu Goswami, Dr. Sikander Kumar, and MLAs Hansraj, Deepraj, and Vinod Kumar.
The team first briefed JP Nadda, who had visited Mandi district on July 9 to assess the damage. Later, Nadda led the delegation to meet Gadkari, who assured all support for the repair and reconstruction of national highways. The team also met Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who confirmed that the Modi-led NDA government will ensure sufficient funds for relief and rehabilitation, and he himself will visit the affected regions soon.
