BJP Anniversary Celebration: Nanda Criticizes Congress Government’s Policies in Himachal

2 min read

Shimla, BJP state media in-charge Karn Nanda said that today, the BJP celebrated its 44th founding day with great enthusiasm at 8000 booths across Himachal Pradesh.

From 2 to 303 MPs, the journey of the BJP has made it the largest political party in the world today. Achieving this milestone is a remarkable contribution of crores of workers and senior leaders such as Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, Deendayal Upadhyay, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Lal Krishna Advani, PM Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, National President Jagat Prakash Nadda, Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, Shanta Kumar, Prof Prem Kumar Dhumal, Jairam Thakur, Dr. Rajeev Bindal, Satpal Satti, and countless others who have worked day and night to strengthen the party.

In the 1984 Lok Sabha elections, where the BJP won only two seats, in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, it secured victory on 303 seats.

This time, under the strong leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Bharatiya Janata Party is going beyond 370 and the NDA is going beyond 400, which will be the biggest victory in the history so far.

He said that the current Congress government is only working with the sentiment of revenge. Chief Minister Sukhwindar Singh Sukhu has no evidence and facts, but he makes statements as if he alone knows the truth. The current government in Himachal Pradesh is trying to spoil the electoral environment itself, perhaps thinking that like the country, the existence of the Congress party is also ending in Himachal.

Today, the current Congress government has become anti-development for employees, youth, women, farmers, horticulturists, tourists, and development in the state. Only opposition is evident in every policy of the government.

He said that suddenly increasing the tax on vehicles has set back the development of tourism in Himachal. The state government and the transport department have increased the rates of annual taxes for taxi operators. The government and the department have misled the taxi owners and quietly increased the tax. The information about the increase in tax came when the taxi operators were depositing online tax. When online tax is being deposited, taxi operators are being shown a higher amount of tax compared to before. The annual tax for 6+1 vehicles was Rs 4400 earlier, but now when the taxis are being deposited, it is becoming Rs 7140.

In this program, Anup Vaidya, Shubh Mahajan, Dushyant Kumar, Rajesh Sharma, Suman Dubey, Neelam Sharma, Rajinder Sahota, and many activists were present. This program was celebrated at the booth Stokes Place and upper Sanjauli.
