Bilaspur Police Seizes 2.47 Grams of Narcotics During Vehicle Check
1 min readBilaspur, September 14:** The Bharaadi Police Station in Bilaspur seized 2.47 grams of narcotics from a vehicle driver during a routine inspection.
According to information, the Bharaadi Police, led by ASI Vidya Sagar, was conducting a patrol late in the evening. The police team was stationed near the Talwada Uthaao Pani Yojana. During this time, a car with the registration number HP-06-0868 approached the area. The police signaled the vehicle to stop, upon which the driver, from Dhara Bada, complied by pulling over to the side of the road.
The police asked the driver to produce his documents, but he began acting suspiciously. The driver’s behavior raised suspicion among the police officers. Upon conducting a search, the police found 20 packets hidden under the foot mat, inside which 2.47 grams of narcotics (chitta) were discovered. The suspect has been identified as Akshay Kumar (27), a resident of Tikkar Dakghar, Ghumarwin Tehsil.
DSP Ghumarwin, Chandrakant Singh, stated that the suspect has been taken into custody, and further investigation into the case is underway.
