Bike Riders Launch Swift Weapon Attack on Youth

Kangra: An incident of a young man assaulting another with a sharp-edged weapon has come to light in Ram Chowk, Palampur sub-division. The incident occurred on Sunday evening when the young man came out of the theater after watching a movie and mounted his bike. During this time, another two young men on a separate bike arrived at the scene, and one of them allegedly attacked him with a sharp-edged weapon. The victim sustained injuries during the attack. The injured young man is a student at the Palampur Veterinary College. The police have arranged for his medical examination, and an investigation into the matter has been initiated.

It is reported that another young man, who was leaving with his wife after watching a film, tried to intervene and was also allegedly subjected to an attack during which he managed to escape. After the incident, a large number of people gathered at the scene, and there was a commotion for a considerable period. Consequently, a significant number of police and security personnel were present at the scene.

Palampur Police Officer Lokendra Singh Negi reported that according to initial information, one young man attacked another with a sharp-edged weapon, and the victim, who is studying at the Palampur Veterinary College, was injured. The identity of the attacker has been established, and efforts are underway to apprehend him. An official case has been registered, and an investigation is underway.
