Bihar Government donates five crore towards Aapda Rahat Kosh

In view of the devastation caused in Himachal Pradesh due to heavy rains and floods, the Bihar Government has provided assistance of rupees five crore towards the Disaster Relief Fund to carry out relief and rehabilitation works.

Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu expressed his gratitude to his Bihar counterpart Nitish Kumar for extending help during the crisis. He said that this assistance amount would prove to be a boon for providing help to the affected families.

The Chief Minister also appreciated the efforts of the people of the State and other organizations who have been voluntarily contributing towards the Aapda Rahat Kosh and have urged to donate liberally towards the fund so that much needed relief could be provided to those in need.
