Baddi University and Rotary Blood Society Unite for Lifesaving Cause

Baddi University’s NSS unit, in collaboration with the Rotary Blood Society Center, Chandigarh, organized a blood donation camp on the university premises. The inaugural ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of the University’s Chancellor, Professor Dr. J.K. Sharma. Enthusiastic volunteers actively participated in the blood donation drive, with more than 100 units of blood collected during the event.
Dr. J.K. Sharma addressed the gathering, applauding the significance of the blood donation camp as a symbol of Baddi University’s commitment to humanity. He emphasized that such initiatives showcase the university’s dedication to building a healthy society. The event was efficiently conducted under the supervision of NSS Program Officer Gurvinder Singh.
In addition to the blood donation camp, the Physiotherapy Department organized a free health check-up camp during the program. Chancellor Dr. J.K. Sharma praised the event in his speech, considering it a noble contribution to society. He expressed gratitude to the Rotary Blood Society, Chandigarh, for their collaboration.
During the event, certificates of appreciation were also presented to the blood donors. Notable attendees included Dr. Khushmeet Kumar, the Registrar; Sushma Singh, the Dean; directors; department heads; teaching and non-teaching staff.
