Baddi Police Checks 71 School Buses, Issues Challans for Safety Violations

The Baddi Police continued its inspection drive to ensure the safety of school children. During the campaign, traffic police teams from Baddi, Nalagarh, and Barotiwala checked 71 school buses at various locations.

Police issued challans to eight school buses for violating safety norms and traffic rules. These included two challans for absence of seat belts, three for operating buses without drivers in prescribed uniform, and three for not carrying first-aid boxes. Bus drivers and school managements were instructed to strictly follow all child safety guidelines.

Superintendent of Police Vinod Kumar Dhiman stated that no compromise would be made when it comes to the safety of school children.

Action Against Black Film on Vehicles

Meanwhile, Baddi Police also intensified action against vehicles using illegal black film on window panes. Acting on the directions of SP Vinod Dhiman, police issued challans to 20 vehicles in the past one week for violating provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act.

Police officials said the use of black film is not only illegal but also increases the risk of criminal activities. The SP reiterated that the use of black film on vehicle windows is completely prohibited under the law.
