Awareness Camp on Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act, 2013 Held in Hamirpu

Hamirpur, August 25 – To spread awareness among women employees about the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013, the District Legal Services Authority organized an awareness camp at Bachat Bhawan on Monday.
Advocate Sunita Kumari, District Legal Child Probation Officer Ambila Sharma, and Child Helpline Coordinator Manorama Devi sensitized women employees from various departments and Anganwadi workers about the provisions of the Act.
They explained that the Act contains special measures to prevent harassment and protect women’s rights at workplaces. A special interactive session was also held with participants to address their queries and concerns.
