Attempt to Murder Case in Shimla, Accused Arrested

Shimla, Feb 12: A young man was attacked with a sharp weapon in Shimla last night, leading to an attempt to murder case being registered by the police. The accused, Aman, who works at a barber shop in the city, has been arrested, while the injured victim, Akshay, is undergoing treatment at IGMC Shimla.

According to the complaint filed by Jalpu Ram, a resident of Jadhani village, Shimla, his son Akshay was attacked by Aman near Tara Hall, Shimla. Upon receiving the information, police reached IGMC, recorded statements, and confirmed through medical examination that Akshay had sustained serious injuries caused by a sharp weapon.

A case has been registered under Sections 109, 118(1), and 118(2) of BNS at Baluganj Police Station, and further investigation is underway.
