Ashok Stambh Vandalised at Hazratbal Shrine, BJP Questions Congress Silence

BJP spokesperson Vivek Sharma criticized the Congress for maintaining silence over the vandalism of the Ashok Stambh at the Hazratbal shrine in Srinagar. He alleged that the act reflects a mindset against national symbols and questioned why the Waqf Board, which installed the plaque during renovation through the Central Waqf Council, is now justifying its removal. Sharma also slammed PDP and NC leaders for supporting such a narrative and demanded Congress clarify its stance on the issue.
