Asara Cultural Troupe Wins State-Level Folk Dance Competition in Shimla

The state-level folk dance competition, organized by the Department of Language and Culture, concluded at Gaiety Theatre, Shimla. Acting Director Divyanshu Singhal, the chief guest, emphasized the role of artists in preserving and promoting Himachal’s rich heritage. Asara Cultural Troupe secured first place, followed by Surya Cultural Troupe (Kullu) and Vanshika Cultural Youth Forum (Kangra). The event showcased performances from Hamirpur, Lahaul-Spiti, Solan, Kangra, Sirmaur, and Kinnaur districts.
