Army Recruitment Rally to be Held at Averipatti from November 20–27

Shimla, Sept 29 – An Army recruitment rally will be organized at Prithi Military Station, Averipatti, in Rampur subdivision of district Shimla from November 20 to 27, 2025.
To review preparations, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anupam Kashyap chaired a meeting today and assured Army officials of full administrative support. He directed that all basic facilities at the venue must be ensured so that candidates do not face any inconvenience.
The DC instructed the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Rampur, to hold a local-level meeting to prevent any attempt to mislead the youth during the recruitment. He emphasized that the entire recruitment process would be video-recorded to maintain transparency. Uninterrupted electricity and water supply at the site, along with affordable accommodation for participants, will also be arranged.
Army officials requested the availability of representatives from the education and sports departments for certificate verification, adequate police deployment for law and order, traffic regulation, medical and fire teams, cleanliness, water tankers, mobile toilets, additional buses, and designated halting points near the recruitment venue.
The meeting was attended by Colonel Manish Singh, Director of Army Recruitment Office Shimla, Subedar Major G.S. Yadav, and officials of the district administration.
