Army Recruitment Drive to Conduct Dope Tests for Performance-Enhancing Drugs

Hamirpur, January 10 – The Army Recruitment Office, Hamirpur, has implemented stringent measures to curb the misuse of performance-enhancing drugs during the physical tests scheduled from **January 17 to 24** at Anu Ground. The tests will cover candidates from **Hamirpur, Una, and Bilaspur** districts.

Colonel B.S. Bhandari, Director of the Army Recruitment Office, stated that a meeting with the Chief Medical Officer of Hamirpur and the health department team has been conducted to strategize on this issue. Around **20 performance-enhancing drugs** have been identified for testing, and candidates found guilty will face strict action.

Additionally, the health department has alerted chemists and drug vendors in the three districts to monitor the sale of such substances.

Colonel Bhandari urged candidates and their families to refrain from indulging in malpractices or being influenced by false promises. He assured that the recruitment process will be conducted with utmost fairness and transparency.
