Applications Invited for AI Skill Training Course in Kangra

Dharamshala, April 1, 2026:

The Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Himachal Pradesh, has invited applications from eligible Scheduled Caste candidates under the SC Abhyudaya Yojana for skill development training programmes in Kangra district. The last date to apply is April 10.

The training includes a course on Artificial Intelligence concepts, for which the minimum qualification is graduation in any discipline from a recognized institution. Additionally, a three-month course in Office Automation, Accounting, and Publishing Assistant is being offered for candidates who have passed Class 12.

Applicants must be permanent residents of Himachal Pradesh, belong to the Scheduled Caste category, and be between 18 and 35 years of age. Selection will be based on merit of academic qualifications, with preference given to candidates from Below Poverty Line (BPL) families. Thirty percent of seats are reserved for women.

Selected trainees will receive a stipend of ₹2,000 per month. The training will be conducted at the HIPPA-NIELIT Computer Lab, DC Office Complex, Kangra (Dharamshala).

Interested candidates can submit their applications along with required documents at the office of the District Welfare Officer, Kangra, or the respective Tehsil Welfare Office.
