APG Shimla University Bids Emotional Farewell to Passing Out Students

APG Shimla University organised a farewell party under the aegis of Dean Dr. Neelam Rattan Sharma Student Welfare department and Dr. Maninder Kaur in the university auditorium on Friday. On this occasion, the junior students bid farewell to the senior students i.e. the students who are passing out with wonderful cultural programmes. APG Shimla University Vice- Chancellor Prof. Dr. R. S. Chauhan attended the farewell party programme as the chief guest, while APG Shimla University Chancellor Engineer Suman Vikrant, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ramesh Chauhan were present as special guests. Chief guest Vice Chancellor R. S. Chauhan and special guests inaugurated the programme by lighting a lamp at the feet of Maa Saraswati. Vice-Chancellor Chauhan said in his statement that in this farewell party, the students are bidding farewell to their seniors happily by displaying their abilities and knowledge and wishing them a happy future. Vice Chancellor Chauhan congratulated all his students for the successful organisation of this farewell and wished them good luck for moving in new paths and new directions. Vice-Chancellor Chauhan wished the students a bright future and said that every end is a sign of a new beginning. Wherever our students go, they should bring glory to their university, their parents, teachers and their region with their knowledge and values. Vice Chancellor Chauhan said that students should strive to learn continuously and improve their skills. Always be dedicated to your work and work with honesty. Vice Chancellor Chauhan said that the key to success is dedication and honesty, which will help students to move ahead in life.
Chief Guest Vice-Chancellor Prof. R.S. Chauhan on behalf of the university also honoured selected graduate and post graduate students of various streams, who are passing out by presenting them Certificate of Excellence, memento and trophy, who have performed excellently in various sports competitions, cultural programmes and studies along with academic activities during their studies. On this occasion, Chancellor Engineer Suman Vikrant said that values ​​are very important in student life. Values ​​bring positive changes in a person’s thoughts, conduct and behavior. Values ​​develop morality, discipline and social responsibility in a person and students learn a lot from the university and college. Also, values ​​have special importance in personal life. Juniors are bidding farewell to their seniors and wishing them well for their future. This is their emotional attachment. On this occasion, the junior students of the university entertained the students, teachers, guests and audience with cultural presentations, film songs, Pahadi songs, poetry recitation, dance, drama, ramp walk competition and Pahadi Naati in honor of the passing out students and till late evening, junior and passed out students were seen dancing in the university campus to film songs like ‘Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna’ played by DJ. The passing out students also got emotional while sharing their wonderful moments spent at APG Shimla University. Miss Farewell and Mr. Farewell competitions were also organized on this occasion. Pragati Singh Raj remained Miss Farewell, Ritesh Sharma remained Mr. Farewell, while Shubham selected as Mr. Personality and Deepa as Miss Personality Farewell.
During the farewell party program, Registrar of APG Shimla University Prof. Dr. R.L. Sharma, Academic Dean Prof. Dr. Anand Mohan Sharma, Controller of Examinations Afzal Khan, Dean Engineering and Technology Prof. Dr. Ankit Thakurr, Head of Commerce Department Dr. Monica Verma, Head of Law Department Dr. Bhavana Verma, Media Incharge Dr. Vijayshree, Executive Officer Jyotsna Sharma and professors of all faculties were present.
