Anurag Thakur’s Words are Empty Promises: Rajeev Rana

1 min read

In a press conference, Rajeev Rana, the Pradesh Congress Committee’s Executive Chairman and Secretary, Himachal Pradesh, has criticized Anurag Thakur’s statements as hollow promises. He stated, “The BJP’s ‘Sankalp Yatra’ has merely attracted crowds of twelve to fifteen hundred, which reflects the disillusionment of the disorganized workers and employees of the Congress.”

Rana accused Anurag Thakur of deceiving the innocent people of Hamirpur constituency with lies every time, leading to fraudulent votes. He remarked that the BJP’s loud claims during the Lok Sabha elections have fizzled out, evidenced by their ‘Sankalp Yatra’ getting lost in the crowds.

Mocking the ‘Sankalp Yatra,’ Rana said that the innocent people of the state are seeing through the BJP’s lies. Whether it’s scams during COVID, misleading the people of Hamirpur about railways, offering false promises in the name of development, singing the false song of double engines, or spectating from Delhi during disasters, the current government of the state has fulfilled its promises to the people within just fifteen months. Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukkhu has shown unwavering dedication to the state, including his commitment of funds during disasters.

Rana further stated that Anurag Thakur has failed even in developing Bamsan block. It was the Congress government that worked there, which was evident during the nomination of Satpal Rajyada for the Lok Sabha, where a large crowd from Hamirpur gathered to prove that only Sukh’s government will run in the state.
