Hamirpur, June 30, 2024: In a historic moment, the Indian cricket team has proven its supremacy by clinching the World Cup. This victory was made even more special in Hamirpur, where BJP workers and supporters celebrated the win with their leader and former Union Minister, Anurag Singh Thakur.

As the BCCI President, he also provided opportunities to players like Jasprit Bumrah, Kuldeep Yadav, and Hardik Pandya. Today, as India wins the World Cup after 17 years, the contributions of these players and Anurag Thakur’s leadership have been pivotal.”
Tej Prakash Chopra praised Anurag Thakur, adding, “By constructing the HPCA’s unparalleled cricket stadium in Dharamshala and developing cricket grounds in five other districts of the state, Anurag Singh Thakur has elevated cricket in the state to new heights.
