Anurag Thakur Slams Congress Govt, Calls CAG Report a “Bundle of Failures”

Hamirpur, August 31, 2025: Former Union Minister and Hamirpur MP Anurag Singh Thakur termed the 2023-24 CAG report as a “bundle of failures” of the Himachal Congress Government. He alleged that since its formation, the Congress Government has pushed the state towards economic crisis with anti-people decisions. Thakur said the return of over ₹1024 crore of central funds reflects the government’s mismanagement and indifference to development. He added that the government is only presenting supplementary budgets for show, while the original allocations remain unspent. As per the CAG, not a single rupee was spent from the budget allocated to 40 projects, exposing the inefficiency of the Sukhu-led Congress Government.
