New Delhi/Himachal Pradesh, May 7, 2025 – Former Union Minister and Member of Parliament from Hamirpur, Anurag Singh Thakur, hailed the Indian Army’s success in Operation Sindoor and said the mission has fulfilled the nation’s vow to punish those behind the Pahalgam terror attack.
Speaking on the operation, Thakur stated, “With the destruction of terror camps across the Pakistani border, the Indian Army has given a befitting reply to the masterminds of the Pahalgam attack, filling the hearts of 140 crore Indians with pride.”
Thakur emphasized that the attack in Pahalgam, where Pakistan-sponsored terrorists brutally killed innocent civilians and shattered families, had deeply shaken the nation. With Operation Sindoor, India not only avenged the fallen but also delivered justice by eliminating terror strongholds within Pakistan.
He further credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s zero-tolerance policy on terrorism, asserting that India under his leadership has always given strong responses—be it through surgical strikes, airstrikes, or covert operations.
“India’s message is clear—any threat to our sovereignty will be met with overwhelming force. Terrorists and their supporters will be identified, pursued, and punished wherever they hide,” Thakur added, calling it a moment of national unity and determination against terrorism.
