Anurag Thakur Backs Modi’s 11-Year Welfare Drive, Plants Tree on Environment Day

On June 5, 2025, Anurag Singh Thakur, former Union Minister and MP from Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh, praised the NDA government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for 11 years of dedicated service, good governance, and welfare for the poor.
Speaking on World Environment Day, Thakur participated in the “One Tree in Mother’s Name” campaign by planting a Harsingar tree to promote environmental awareness. He highlighted the government’s achievements including Digital India, Make in India, PM Awas Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, and DBT, which have improved transparency and accessibility of benefits for millions.
Thakur stressed that trees are the foundation of life and urged everyone to actively join the tree plantation campaign initiated by PM Modi to honor motherhood and protect nature.
He called upon citizens to participate enthusiastically in environmental protection efforts to keep the Earth green and healthy.
