Anupam Kashyap Emphasizes Strict Law and Order During Assembly Session

Shimla, 26 August – District Magistrate Anupam Kashyap convened a crucial meeting today with district administration officials to discuss law and order in light of the upcoming Assembly session, which will be held from 27 August to 09 September 2024. He assured that the district administration is fully committed to maintaining law and order during the session.

Kashyap stated that no protests will be allowed near the Assembly area during the session. Protestors will only be permitted to demonstrate at Chhota Maidan, and prior permission from the district administration is mandatory for any such activities.

He directed the magistrates to establish strong coordination with police officials to ensure that no law and order issues arise during the Assembly session. The district administration will maintain a vigilant watch to ensure the smooth conduct of the session.
