Another Investment Scam Surfaces in Bilaspur District

An investment scam has come to light in Bilaspur’s Barthin, where fraudsters opened a finance company office and lured investors with promises of doubling their money and offering expensive gifts. After people invested millions, the company shut its office and fled. A complaint has been filed in the Jhanduta court, leading to an FIR at the Talai police station. A local employee and company officials from Punjab had influenced people to invest by showing attractive schemes and assuring the safety of their money. Despite promises of paying back the investment by March 10, 2024, the company disappeared with the funds.
