Ambhehra-Dhamandri Road Closed for Traffic Till September 2

Una, August 4:
Vehicular movement on the Ambhehra-Dhamandri road (from km 3/000 to 3/750 and km 0/000 to 0/725) will remain suspended from August 5 to September 2 due to ongoing repair and widening works. Deputy Commissioner Una, Jatin Lal, has issued orders under Sections 115 and 116 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, directing traffic diversions during this period.

DC Lal informed that traffic will be rerouted via the link road from Dera Baba Rudru Ashram to Manohar Market Dhamandri. Light motor vehicles will be allowed to pass through Dhamandri Bazar (Panchayat Road) using alternative link roads.

He further instructed concerned officials to install advance information boards to notify the public about the road closure and the alternative routes available. The move aims to ensure smooth and speedy completion of the road repair and expansion works on Basal Puli to Nangal Salangdi Road and Ambhehra-Dhamandri Road.
