All HPPWD Rest House Rooms (Except One VIP Room) Now Available for Online Booking

Shimla, May 5 – The Himachal Pradesh Government has announced that all rooms in HPPWD Rest Houses across the state—except for one designated VIP room in each rest house—will now be available for online booking with immediate effect, in the public interest.
As per the new system, 50% of the advance payment must be made online via the official booking portal. The room booking will be confirmed instantly on a first come, first serve basis through the automated system.
This decision is aimed at increasing transparency, convenience, and accessibility for the general public, and is effective immediately.
