Agniveer Recruitment Rally to be Held in Rampur Bushahr from September 3 to 9

Rampur, August 20 — The Army Recruitment Office, Shimla, will conduct an Agniveer recruitment rally for the year 2024-25 from September 3 to 9, 2024, at Prithi Military Station, Averipatti, Rampur. This rally will include youths from Shimla, Solan, Sirmaur, and Kinnaur districts who have passed the written examination. The rally will consist of physical, ground, and medical tests.

Colonel Pushvinder Kaur, Director of the Army Recruitment Office, Shimla, stated that the rally dates might be extended if weather conditions are unfavorable. A coordination conference was held today to prepare for the event, where administrative and departmental officials assured full cooperation for the successful organization of the rally.

During the conference, Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Rampur Nishant Tomar, SDM of Nirmand Manmohan Singh, and DSP Rampur Naresh Sharma confirmed that sufficient police force will be deployed to maintain law and order and ensure smooth traffic management at the rally site. Additionally, arrangements for an ambulance, doctor, nurse, and uninterrupted power supply will be ensured.

Colonel Swapnil Rawat, Commanding Officer of the 871 Medium Regiment (SHINGO), also thanked all the officials present at the conference and clarified their responsibilities for the recruitment rally.
