Una, October 22 – About one hundred and fifty dengue cases have been found in the Una district by Saturday during the investigation at the Regional Hospital,
CMO Una Dr Manju Behl said today that the number of dengue patients was increasing day by day in the district.
The CMO said that the dengue test in the district was being done free of cost at Amb, Haroli, Gagret, Basdehra, Thanakalan and Regional Hospital Una.
Dr Manju Behl said that due to dengue, the patient gets a high fever, headache, and pain in the body, pain behind the eyes, sometimes bleeding from the nose and stomach, which can be dangerous. In dengue, the number of platelets in the blood decreases.
She told the people that if these symptoms were seen in any person, then get them checked immediately. Dengue treatment and treatment are available free of cost in government health institutions in the district.
The CMO said that to prevent dengue, do not allow water to collect for a long time, do not allow water to collect in old tires, vases, broken utensils, or broken pots, do not take any medicine to bring down fever in dengue without doctor’s advice.
She advised people to take water-filled pots and tanks covered, change the cooler water once a week, keep the water in the tray at the bottom of the vase, and pot while standing, wear clothes that cover the body completely and use mosquito repellent to protect against the disease.
