883 Revenue Cases Resolved Under Special Revenue Lok Adalat Drive: DC Mukesh Repswal

Chamba, March 2: Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repswal chaired a review meeting at the National Informatics Centre (NIC) Hall regarding the progress of cases under the Special Revenue Lok Adalat campaign.

The DC informed that a total of 883 revenue cases have been resolved so far under the special drive in the district. These include 215 partition (takseem) cases, 374 demarcation cases, and 294 cases related to correction of revenue records.

While reviewing the weekly targets, Repswal directed Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs), Tehsildars, and Naib Tehsildars to ensure disposal of cases in line with the prescribed weekly goals. He emphasized that during the three-month special campaign period, priority must be given to clearing old and long-pending cases.

Issuing strict instructions, the Deputy Commissioner asked officials to prepare a clear, practical, and result-oriented action plan. He directed that all cases pending for over six months and one year must be resolved by March 31. Regular monitoring and personal-level review of progress will be undertaken to ensure compliance.

He also instructed that after disposal, details of all revenue cases must be mandatorily uploaded to the Revenue Management System.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Amit Mehra, District Revenue Officer Vikramjeet Singh, along with SDMs, Tehsildars, and Naib Tehsildars from various sub-divisions, participated in the meeting, including through virtual mode.
