Amit Shah Blasts Congress Over Terror Stand, Hails Operation Mahadev

1 min read

Shimla, July 29: Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched a scathing attack on the Congress during a Lok Sabha debate, accusing the party and former Home Minister P. Chidambaram of indirectly giving a clean chit to Pakistan by demanding proof of the cross-border counter-terror operation *Sindoor*. Shah emphasized that unlike the UPA regime that sent dossiers to Pakistan, the Modi government responds with decisive military action.

Shah revealed details of *Operation Mahadev*, in which three high-profile terrorists responsible for the Pahalgam attack—including LeT commander Suleman alias Faizal Jatt—were eliminated by Indian forces. The operation was based on precise intelligence and executed in coordination with the Indian Army, CRPF, and J\&K Police. Shah confirmed that forensic and ballistic reports verified the identities of the terrorists.

He criticized the opposition for their muted reaction to the success of the operation and expressed disappointment that eliminating terrorists didn’t evoke satisfaction from Congress leaders. Shah concluded by lauding the bravery of the Indian armed forces and reiterated PM Modi’s commitment to national security.
