Orange Alert for Kangra, Kullu, Mandi

Shimla, July 29, 2025:
The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for heavy rainfall in parts of Kangra, Kullu, and Mandi districts on Tuesday, July 29. A yellow alert has been sounded for other regions. Rainfall is expected to continue across Himachal Pradesh till August 3. The department has warned of intensified rain on July 29 and 30, followed by moderate showers in the coming days. The rainfall may cause landslides and flash floods in hill areas, prompting authorities to advise caution.
