Praises Modi Government’s Initiatives

Sujanpur, 8 March: On the occasion of International Women’s Day, a grand event was organized in Chauri, Sujanpur constituency, where thousands of women participated, warmly welcoming former MLA Rajendra Rana with traditional drum beats. The event was so well-attended that the venue was too small, and many attendees had to sit on balconies and rooftops.

During his address, Rajendra Rana praised Modi government’s initiatives for women empowerment and sharply criticized the Sukhvinder Sukhu-led Congress government in Himachal Pradesh. He highlighted the government’s failure to fulfill promises, including the ₹1500 monthly allowance for women. He accused the state government of misleading women by accepting applications and then discarding them.

Rana emphasized that Modi government’s schemes like Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Ujjwala Yojana, and the Triple Talaq Law have empowered women socially, economically, and legally. He stressed that women today are progressing in every field, including politics, education, sports, and administration.

He also appealed for societal changes, advocating equal opportunities for daughters, and urged the public to ensure women’s empowerment. At the end of the event, women committed themselves to furthering the cause of women’s empowerment.
