Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap chaired a meeting with district revenue officers, emphasizing the timely resolution of pending revenue cases. He instructed officials to ensure quick disposal of cases to improve public service. The meeting reviewed cases pending for over two years, with officers providing updates.
The DC also directed officials to issue death certificates promptly for victims of the Smaiz tragedy and ensure the third relief installment reaches beneficiaries in Chopal. He ordered a crackdown on illegal mining under the guise of land development and mandated regular inspections of ongoing development projects.
Additionally, nine automated weather stations are planned, with two already installed in Khalag and Basantpur. Officers were directed to submit sub-divisional disaster management plans by February 20, 2025, and improve proposals under the State Disaster Mitigation Fund.
