Himachal Pradesh IPS Officers Transferred

The Governor of Himachal Pradesh, on the recommendations of the Civil Services Board, has approved the transfer and posting of the following IPS officers in the public interest, with immediate effect:

1. Mohit Chawla, IPS (HP:2010): Appointed as Principal, Police Training College (PTC), Daroh, District Kangra. He was previously serving as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Cyber Crime (CID), Shimla. He replaces Ms. Soumya Sambhasivan, IPS (HP:2010), who held this position as an additional charge.

2. Omapati Jamwal, IPS (HP:2011) Promoted and posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGP), Welfare & Administration, at Police Headquarters, Shimla. He takes charge of the post of Inspector General of Police (Welfare & Administration).
