Minister Vikramaditya Singh to Address Sanitation Workers’ Demands
1 min readShimla, September 20: Urban Development Minister Vikramaditya Singh attended an event at Gaiety Theatre organized by the George Institution for Global Health. He praised sanitation workers for their vital role in maintaining cleanliness in Shimla, especially during challenging weather.
Singh announced a forthcoming meeting with the sanitation workers’ union to discuss their demands. He emphasized the government’s commitment to improving environmental cleanliness and sewage systems in the city.
MLA Harish Janartha highlighted the growth of the SEHB society and urged the mayor to hold a general meeting to address sanitation issues. A documentary showcasing the challenges faced by sanitation workers was also presented.
