Jairam Thakur Criticizes Sukhu Government for Cement Price Hike

Shimla, 09 September 2024: Opposition leader and former Chief Minister Jairam Thakur has criticized the Sukhu government for increasing cement prices twice within a week, making house construction expensive for the common man. He pointed out that while the central government is providing 93,000 houses to Himachal Pradesh, the state government is making it harder for people to rebuild their homes after recent disasters. Thakur expressed gratitude to the central leadership for their support, particularly for allocating 93,000 houses to the state under the PMAY scheme.
