60th Raising Day Marked With Series Of Outreach Activities

On the momentous occasion of 60th Raising Day of 21 Sub Area, a series of outreach activities and programs have been scheduled under the aegis of various Station Headquarters in the area of responsibility. The Ex-Servicemen & Veterans welfare activities have been the focus, in addition to other adventure activities.
In a first-of-its-kind activity in far-flung remote areas – a Medical Camp for Ex-Servicemen & Veterans in district of Lahul and Spiti was conducted at Keylong Regional Hospital on 13 June 2022.
The medical camp witnessed a good footfall – in situ medical check ups, laboratory investigations and distribution of medicines followed by a hot cup of tea and snacks was the attraction for one and all.
The medical camp was also visited by Station Cdr ,Palchan who had a healthy interaction with the Ex Servicemen, Veterans and the hospital staff. culminated his address by reiterating that “We need to do more in our endeavor to outreach to Exservicemen and Veterans in such difficult and inhospitable terrain.
