5th Anniversary of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan held at Bhatakufar school

On the eve of 5th Anniversary of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, a district level Event was held at GSSS, Bhatakufar, Shimla today.
In the event a number of events were held commencing with pledge and community awareness school students were made aware about the menace of Drugs by Principal Sir Shri Keval Ram Chauhan and Tehsil Welfare Officer Shimla (Rural) Satish Sharma, who is also nodal officer of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan. After that a walkathon was held which started from school and went through the market of Bhatakufar.
All staff members of the school played an active role where total of 250 students participated.
After walkathon, Drawing Competition, Slogan Writing, Race for senior and Junior category for girls and boys was held seperately, 100 meters race, 800 meters was held in which students participated enthusiastically.
Tug of war was earlier agreed by students of boys from class 9th to 12th, but once the event happend for them, girls and boys of senior and junior wings got enthusiastic and tug of war was held for them also.
Rangoli competition was also held. Skit was performed by 10 boys of class 9th and 10th spreading message of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan. Nati was also performed by girls of the school.
The event was followed by prize distribution to the winners of the above mentioned events and Momentoes were distributed to participants of Skit, Nati and Saraswati Vandana.
School management team was felicitated by District Welfare officer Kapil Sharma.
The event ended with vote of thanks by District Welfare Officer Kapil Sharma who thanked the entire staff of the school and spread the message of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan among students.
