40 Girls Awarded ₹2.79 Lakh Scholarships at Haroli Utsav in Una

Una, April 13: A total of 40 schoolgirls were awarded scholarships worth ₹2.79 lakh by the Swan Women Federation during the Haroli Utsav, in a ceremony graced by Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri.
The scholarships were distributed based on an annual examination conducted by the federation in February for students from Classes 5 to 10. The initiative aims to support the education of girls from member families and encourage academic excellence.
Class-wise scholarships were awarded to meritorious students, with top performers receiving higher amounts. Students from Class 5 received a total of ₹34,000, Class 6 ₹38,000, Class 7 ₹45,000, Class 8 ₹58,000, Class 9 ₹54,000, and Class 10 ₹50,000.
Top rankers across classes, including Indu Kumari, Tanvi Mankotia, Aaruhi, Navya Modgil, Kritika, and Simar Sahota, were among those honoured for their academic performance.
The initiative highlights continued efforts to promote girls’ education and provide financial support to deserving students, encouraging them to pursue their studies with confidence.
