34 Women Trained in Mushroom Cultivation at Himachal’s RSCT

Hamirpur, Sept 20: A training camp on mushroom cultivation concluded at Punjab National Bank Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSCT) in Mattansiddh, where 34 rural women learned the techniques of mushroom farming. Neeraj Kumar Anand, Head of PNB Circle Office, encouraged women to start small home-based enterprises and utilize bank loan schemes to increase their income, with RSCT providing support. RSCT Director Ajay Katna highlighted that short-term training programs are free for individuals aged 18–50, including accommodation, meals, and other facilities.
