JP Nadda appealed workers to promote khadi and swadeshi

Hamirpur , Oct 2 – BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda on Sunday exhorted party workers to adopt Swadeshi and purchase khadi during the khadi pakhwara.
He made purchases from a Khadi shop located at Gandhi Chowk on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti.
Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, Union Minister Anurag Thakur, National Vice President Saudan Singh and State President Suresh Kashyap were also present on this occasion.
All the leaders bought 5 meters of cloth from this shop to make and promote Khadi’s kurta-pajama.
We should use Khadi in our daily activities he told workers present on this occasion.
Nadda said that Khadi Village Industries is doing a big business of 1.15 lakh crore in India. Which has given a boost to this industry in the country.
This is possible only because of the massive efforts of the Prime Minister, who inspired the general public to use it and I am grateful to the public that they have shown inclination towards Khadi.
Khadi is turning out to be the fastest growing consumer good industry in India.
This industry has given employment to lakhs of people and boosted the economy of the country.
We focus on Make in India and self-reliant India, this is one of the prime examples of the same, he said.
