Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrated at SILB

Shoolini Institute of Life Sciences and Business Management (SILB) organised Aazadi ka Amrit Mahotsav on the occasion of 75th anniversary of Independence.

Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav is a part of the initiative taken by the Government of India. The programme was started with the veneration of Goddess Saraswati by lighting the lamp. After that the director of the institute, Dr. Shalini Sharma, in her address, told all the students about the importance of freedom and inspired them to work with full responsibility

On this occasion, students of all the departments of the Institute gave their performances, which included skit, dance, Bhangra and songs of patriotism. The students were so excited that the entire hall reverberated with the slogans of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Inquilab Zindabad”. In the end, Mrs. Saroj Khosla, Chairperson of the Institute appreciated all the students and thanked them for their excellent performances. She was so impressed by the patriotic performances, that could not stop herself to join the students on the stage for the song “Sabarmati ke Sant”. She said that after hundreds of years of slavery, we have got freedom, it should not be wasted. Let us enjoy freedom while discharging our responsibilities. On occasion, there was an atmosphere of happiness and joy among all the students, teachers and other staff.
