3 persons, including a UP resident, arrested under NDPS Act

Dharamshala, Feb 22 – Kangra police has arrested today three persons under different sections of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, Àtwo under Dharamshala police station and one under Dehra police station in Kangra district, after police recovered charas and Heroin from their possession and among the accused persons one belonged to Lakhnoti Saharanpur Uttar Pradesh, police said here today.
Senior Superintendent of Police Kangra Kaushal Sharma told UNI today that one of the three accused persons was identified as Bagh Singh resident of Dehra ,of Kàngra district who was arrested at Doosadka near Radha Swami Satsang Bhawan falling under Dehra police station following recovery of 26.53 grams of charas from his possession. Police registered a case under section 20-61-85 of NDPS Act.
SSP said that two persons identified as Mohit Kumar resident of Valmiki Colony Civil Bazar Dharamshala and Kishen Pal resident of Lakhnoti Saharanpur Uttar Pradesh and presently residing at Fatehpur were arrested under section 21, 29-61-85 of NDPS Act after police recovered 2.93 grams of Heroin and 14.69 grams of white powder from their possession at Sheela Chowk, Dharamshala falling under Dharamshala police station on Tuesday.
SSP said that police registered a case against the the three accused persons under NDPS Act and the investigation was in progress.
