3-Day National Law Fest 2.0 concludes at Shoolini University

The Centre for Clinical Legal Education (CCLE), Faculty of Legal Sciences, Shoolini University, organised three-day National Law Fest 2.0 which was concluded successfully yesterday. The event, held from 23 November, coincided with India’s Constitution Day, observed annually on 26th November.
The fest, organised with the objective of integrating theory and practice in legal education, featured a diverse array of competitions, including a moot court competition, crime scene investigation, case commentary competition, public interest litigation drafting competition, article writing competition, and legislative review competition. Distinguished judges and advocates from the Supreme Court, High Courts of Punjab and Haryana, Delhi, and Shimla, as well as renowned academicians from various universities, were judges of the events.
Law Fest witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 100 delegates representing law schools and colleges nationwide, including the National Law University, as well as public and private universities recognised by the Bar Council of India.
Advocate Deepak Jindal, Former Deputy Advocate General, shared his views on the importance of legal education.
Prof. Sanjay Sindhu, Dean, Law School HPU,  emphasised the significance of National Law Day in India for practical exposure.
Chief guests  of the fest including Prof. Dr. Sanjay Sindhu, Adv. Dr. Deepak Jindal, Adv. Rajiv Chauhan, Adv. Manoj Verma, Adv. Rajpal Verma, Dr. Pushpanjali, Dr. Santosh, Dr. Ruchi, Dr. Chandrika, Mr. Biniet Sachdeva, Adv. Yug Singhal, Smt. Kiran Sethi from Delhi Police.
Chancellor Prof. PK Khosla, Pro-Chancellor Mr. Vishal Anand, and Vice Chancellor  Prof. Atul Khosla,  were also present at valedictory.
Vice Chancellor Prof Atul Khosla congratulated the faculty of legal sciences for providing a remarkable platform for budding lawyers and to enhance their knowledge and skills.
Winners of the fest included, Moot Court Competition: Winners – Amity Law School, Gwalior, Crime Scene Investigation: Winners – GH Raisoni University, MP, Case Commentary Competition: Winners – Indian Institute of Legal Studies, Shimla, Public Interest Litigation Drafting Competition: Winners – NMIMS, Mumbai, Article Writing Competition: Winners – National Law University, Maharashtra.
During Law fest the second edition of a book exhibition, showcasing bestsellers and knowledge-enhancing publications from major publishing houses such as HP Hamilton, SCC, Lexis Nexis, CBS Publications, New Age Publications, Young Global, and SmartBook India.
Dr. Renu Pal Sood, Director,  The Centre for Clinical Legal Education (CCLE), said, center focuses on developing attitudes and skills, articulating values, making ethical decisions, and increasing students’ confidence and responsibility in a clinical setting.
Prof Nandan Sharma Associate Dean Faculty of Legal Sciences said School of law is committed to provide excellence in legal education and also committed to produce best judges and lawyers to make the country feel proud. Prof Sharma congratulated everyone on the occasion of Samvidhan Diwas.
