282123 Persons Found COVID Positive Till Date Across Himachal

Shimla, Feb. 21 – The Government spokesperson informed that a total 282123 persons have been found COVID positive till now across the State. The number of active cases as reported today is 1919 in the State.
The Government spokesperson informed that from 13-02-2022 to 19-02-2022, the maximum positivity rate of 9.8% has been reported from district Hamirpur, and minimum positivity rate of 1.9% from district Bilaspur.
The Government Spokesperson told that the positivity rate of >= 5% to < 10% has been recorded form 5 districts i.e. Chamba, Kangra, Kinnaur, Mandi and Hamirpur, and rest seven districts reported positivity rate of <5%. The district wise information of the positivity rates from 13-02-2022 to 19-02-2022 is as follows:

The Government Spokespersonappealed to the public that though the positivity rate has declined, but still to reduce the transmission of COVID virus in the community, it is important to monitor yourselves for the symptoms, getting tests done in case symptoms appear.
